Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Gawula, operated by Gawula (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.

Gawula is a marketplace. Stores prepare food. Independent riders deliver it. We take payment, pass orders to stores, and coordinate delivery or pickup.

You must be 18 or older, give accurate details, and keep your login private. We may suspend an account that is abusive, fraudulent, or used to harm stores, riders or other customers.

Prices, fees and availability are shown before you pay. Payment is collected by PayFast on our behalf. An order is confirmed only after payment succeeds. Until then the store does not see it.

You can cancel only before the store accepts. After that, contact support. If an item is unavailable we refund the affected amount. Full refunds follow the refunds policy.

Delivery times are estimates. Weather, traffic and store prep can delay a trip. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, or amounts above the order total, except where South African consumer law says otherwise.
